Dear Jody,
What a great story you have posted here! I love the fact that you are working on getting better physically because getting a Masters plus losing 85 lbs is not an easy feat, so,
please continue your journey that only you can walk.
I never been oweight, I don’t know how that feels but obesity runs in my family and I
had seen my sisters struggle and cry over this. My fear was Diabetes or something
worse. I’ve seen this disease take my best friend at a younger age and dear loved
ones at their prime! I don’t want to lose anyone else to it, so perhaps that’s what
has kept me from piling the pounds too!
Thank You for sharing, and please continue improving your health by sticking to
whatever works for you.
Awwwww, thanks, Jamie 🙂 And thanks for stopping by this new, little corner of the interwebs! I absolutely love your site and appreciate all you do for the LC community!!!
I am so proud of you girlie. I know how hard it is to do. Hope to see less of you when you return to Worthington. Keep going you look fantastic, Sheila K.
Hey Jods! I am so proud of you! And you are looking GOOD! Just heard of your blog today and had to check it out. Nice work! Hope to see you the next time you are home. Maybe have a KPPA reunion? Wouldn’t that be a hoot?!!!!
Hey Jody! I am so inspired by what you have done! I’ve been making the cauliflower pizza and hope to write about it for the Globe sometime soon. If I do, can I mention your blog and weight-loss journey? I want to give credit about where I found it, if you are comfortable with that. — As Sheila said, hope to see less of you soon! — Beth
Hey, Beth! Yes, of course mention my blog 🙂 I would absolutely be honored if you mentioned my blog and weight-loss journey! How do you like the pizza??? It’s one of my favorite things to make!!! Thanks for spreading the bacon love!!!
We really like it. Not sure I’ll ever convince Bryan that it’s just as good as regular pizza, but we’ve had it several times now. I’ve mentioned it to a few people and they are anxious for me to write about it, so will do so soon. Congrats on all the good stuff that’s been happening for you — and I hope your foot is doing better!
So glad to hear that you enjoy the pizza! Very good stuff happening. I actually just had a doc appointment today and the foot is healing great. About a little over a month before it’s good as new.
